Panier

A trocar is an essential surgical instrument used in minimally invasive surgery and targeted diagnostic procedures. It consists of a hollow cylindrical rod, featuring a sharp, pointed tip, mounted on an ergonomic handle ensuring a secure and precise grip.

Housed inside a cannula, only the tip of the trocar emerges during insertion, allowing for controlled and atraumatic tissue penetration. This technique, called trocarization, facilitates access to body cavities for punctures, biopsies, or surgical explorations, while reducing trauma and the risk of complications.

The trocar is particularly indicated in the diagnosis and management of oncological pathologies, notably for:

·         Rectal cancer

·         Stomach cancer

·         Esophageal cancer

·         Anal canal cancer

·         Liver tumors

·         Hepatocellular carcinoma

Thanks to its precise and reliable design, the trocar guarantees excellent operative safety, optimal control of the surgical gesture, and high sample quality, meeting the requirements of healthcare professionals in hospital and surgical settings.
